Track and Field to hold clinic

CARBONDALE, Ill.— The Southern Illinois track and field team will hold a clinic January 7 and 8 at the SIUC Student Recreation Center.
The clinic will focus on pole vault, shot put, discus, long jump, triple jump, high jump, hurdles and sprints. Participants in the clinic will receive a personalized evaluation of their technique as well as pointers on how to improve.
The clinic is open to junior high and high school students. Cost of the clinic is $75 per participant. Coaches are also welcome to attend.
The schedule for the clinic is as follows:
Saturday, January 7
10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Pole vault/Throws
Sunday, January 8
1:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Jumps/Sprints/Hurdles
