Men's Tennis to host fundraiser April 2

CARBONDALE, Ill. -- The Saluki Men's Tennis team will hold their fundraiser next Saturday, April 2, at University Courts on the SIU campus.
The entree fee is $40 a person, which covers Gatorade, pizza, and a free SIU t-shirt. A doubles tournament will be played, with two matches guaranteed for each participant. Warm-up will be between 12 and 1 p.m. and matches will begin at 1 p.m.
Contestants can either sign up with their own partner, sign up alone and the Men's Tennis staff will select a partner, or, the first nine people that pay an extra $20 can be partnered with a player from the SIU Men's Tennis team. Prizes will be handed out for champions and runners-up.
To sign up for the tournament, contact head coach Dann Nelson by noon on April 2 at ddnelson@siu.edu or call the tennis office at (618)-453-7247. When signing up, make sure to specify which pairing option you would like.
