Softball series with Creighton cancelled

OMAHA, Neb. - Due to unplayable field conditions, the scheduled series between Southern Illinois and Creighton has been cancelled.
The series was set to be only a doubleheader on Sunday, but temperatures and field conditions forced the cancellation of the weekend matchup.
Officials are in talks to possibly reschedule the series.
SIU (16-10, 3-0 MVC) will return home to Charlotte West Stadium to face Saint Louis on Wednesday in a doubleheader beginning at 3 p.m.
