SALUKIS VS. THE STATE
Southern finishes its non-conference schedule against in-state school Chicago State, having already played non-conference games against Illinois schools Loyola-Chicago and SIU Edwardsville. ON THE ROAD AGAIN
SIU is winding down its longest road swing of the season, which started December 16 at Missouri. The Salukis play three consecutive road games over the intercession and won't be back at SIU Arena again until opening Missouri Valley Conference play January 3 against Creighton.
