Softball cancelled Sunday against Missouri State

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. - Due to the threat of rain in the area, today's series finale between the Southern Illinois softball team and Missouri State has been cancelled.
The game was scheduled for an hour earlier at 11 a.m. but rain is expected to move through before that start time and last through the afternoon.
This is the fourth-straight year rain has affected the series as the two teams have only played two games in the usual three game series. The last time they played a complete series was in 2008.
The Salukis are back at Charlotte West Stadium Tuesday for a conference doubleheader with Evansville beginning at 4 p.m.
