Second-annual Saluki Shootout field announced

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The second-annual Saluki Shootout field is set, and this year's high school basketball event will take place Dec. 7-8 at SIU Arena, Saluki Athletics announced today.
The shootout features 18 local teams, including six girls and 12 boys teams from the southern Illinois region. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students for Friday's session. Prices for Saturday's session are $10 and $6.
Fans who purchase a Saturday shootout ticket will also receive a complimentary ticket to the SIU versus Marshall women's basketball game on Dec. 8 at noon.

Due to NCAA rules, the arena will be cleared during the transition between the 9 a.m., noon and 2:30 p.m. games.
