Over 250 runners participate in Saluki Kickoff 5K

The second Saluki Kickoff 5K saw 265 runners and walkers turn out on Saturday morning at Saluki Stadium.
Saluki Athletics in association with The Southern Illinoisan hosted the race, which took runners on a scenic course around the SIU campus. The 5K ended on the field with runners able to watch themselves on the video board as they crossed the finish line.
Proceeds from the race will be donated to the Saluki Tickets for Kids. Full race results will be posted on caperoadrunners.org.
