SIU Football holding February tryout for walk-ons.

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois football team will hold a tryout on Monday, Feb. 3 for SIU students interested in joining the program. The team will hold a meeting for prospective players at 1 p.m. Feb. 3 in the Saluki Football offices in the Boydston Center. The on-field workout will follow at Saluki Stadium at 2 p.m.

Two former walk-ons, fullback Ray Agnew and long snapper Thor Hadfield, started for the Salukis in 2013.
