Men's Tennis hosts Creighton, Drake in final home matches

CARBONDALE, Ill.-- The Southern Illinois University men's tennis team will host its final home matches of the season this week welcoming Creighton and Drake to Carbondale.

The Salukis and Creighton are scheduled for a Friday afternoon match at 1 p.m. on University Courts. On Saturday Southern Illinois and Drake will begin at 10 a.m.

Prior to Saturday's match the Saluki seniors will be recognized.

Southern Illinois is off to its best start since 2009 holding an 11-3 overall record and a perfect 2-0 record in Missouri Valley Conference play.

Creighton (7-6, 0-2 MVC) enters the match looking to pick-up its first conference win while 28^th-ranked Drake (19-2, 2-0 MVC) looks to knock-off SIU, as both are currently tied for first in the MVC standings.
