Saluki football suspends two players

CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois head football coach Dale Lennon announced Tuesday that linebacker Victor Burnett and defensive lineman Adam Brandt have been suspended for a violation of team rules.

Brandt has started eight of nine games in 2014 and was second on the team with four sacks. Burnett has appeared in all nine games and is sixth on the team with 40 total tackles.
