CARBONDALE, Ill. - The 2014 softball Fall Hitting Academy has been filled, associate head coach Jen Sewell announced today. Athletes will be notified this week of their status and the upcoming schedule.

SIU announced the hitting academy a week ago. Groups of 4-5 individuals in grades 8-12 will get one-on-on instruction from SIU associate head coach and hitting coach Jen Sewell. The Salukis ranked in the top three of the MVC in six offensive categories last year and led the league in on-base percentage.
