Saluki Baseball Fall World Series Preview

The 2017 Saluki Baseball team will host three seven-inning intrasquad scrimmages this week at Itchy Jones Stadium. Admission is free and open to the public.Â
TEAM ROUNDUP
The 2017 team returns all three weekend starting pitchers from a staff that ranked second in the Missouri Valley Conference in ERA last year. For position players, the Salukis return 88 percent of their starts (452 of 513) from the 31-win 2016 team. Seven of the team's top eight hitters from last year return. Six Salukis earned All-MVC nods after the 2016 season and all six are back in 2017.
