The defending national hammer throw champion now has 12 career throws of 70m or more, and five of the top-11 throws in NCAA history.

Warren Hazel ran the 400-meter dash for the first time this season and didn't disappoint, cruising to a win with a personal-best time of 46.82. It marks the 25th-best time in the NCAA West Region, and gives the freshman sprinter from Old Roads, St. Kitts a regional qualifying mark with three meets to go.
Bradley Sauer and Nate Dyer finished first and second, respectively in the men's hammer throw, with Sauer recording his fifth-straight meet where he has thrown 60m (196-10) or further, winning with a toss of 60.20m (197-06).
