Walk-on tryout set for January 30

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois football team will hold a tryout on Monday, January 30, for SIU students interested in joining the program. The team will hold a meeting for prospective players at 1 p.m. on January 30 in the Saluki Football offices in the Boydston Center. The on-field workout will follow at Saluki Stadium at 2 p.m.

Recent Saluki walk-ons Ray Agnew and Kenneth Boatright went on to play in the NFL.
