21st annual fish fry and memorabilia auction set for March 24

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The 21st annual Saluki Baseball fish fry and memorabilia auction is set for Friday, March 24, from 5-8 p.m. in the Carbondale Civic Center. The auction will begin at 7 p.m., and all proceeds benefit the Saluki Baseball program.

Dinner includes all-you-can eat fish, potato salad, coleslaw, bread, soft drinks and homemade desserts, all for only $10 for adults and $5 for children. Carry outs will also be available.

Featured items for the auction include a Walt Frazier signed basketball; baseballs autographed by Ernie Banks, Nolan Ryan, Pete Rose and Adam Wainwright; jerseys signed by Jason Frasor and Ozzie Smith; tickets to Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals games; and golf packages to Hickory Ridge Golf Course and Gateway National Golf Course.
