PEORIA, Ill. - Saturday's regular-season baseball finale between Bradley and Southern Illinois at Dozer Park has been canceled due to inclement weather and a limited window to play due to tonight's Peoria Chiefs game. Â
Southern Illinois completes the regular season with a 27-28 record and a 10-10 record in Missouri Valley Conference play. The Salukis will be either the 4-seed or 5-seed in next week's MVC Tournament, depending on the outcome of the Wichita State vs. Indiana State later today. The Shockers and Sycamores are scheduled to play today at 1 p.m. in Terre Haute, Ind.
The MVC Tournament will be hosted by Missouri State in Springfield, Mo., from May 24-27. The MVC Tournament Central page with links to all news, notes, video streams, live stats, tickets and more can be found here.
