Ingram wins the weight throw for the third time in three meets this season.

Senior thrower Isaac Ingram won the men's weight throw on day one of the Vanderbilt Invitational Friday night in Nashville, Tenn.

The Harrisburg, Ill. native threw a lifetime-best 70'-3.50" (21.42m) Friday to win the event for the third-straight meet. His mark moves him up to fourth on SIU's all-time list as he became the fourth Saluki to throw the weight 70-plus feet.

The reigning MVC Field Athlete of the Week was one of three Salukis to finish in the top-10 of the event, as Ricky Hurley came in seventh and Nate Dyer finished 10th.
