TALLAHASSEE, FL – Southern Illinois Men's Golf heads to Florida this weekend for the Seminole Intercollegiate. The men playing this weekend are Peyton Wilhoit, Luke Gannon, Dirk Kuehler, Hunter York and Frankie Thomas with Dean Harpe playing as an individual.
The 14-team field this weekend features Cincinnati, Florida State, Jacksonville, Kansas State, Western Kentucky, West Virginia, Troy, Arkansas State, Illinois State, Winthrop, James Madison, Nicholls State and Western Carolina.
Last weekend, SIU finished the Desert Intercollegiate tied for 14th place out of 23 teams. Head coach Justin Fetcho is excited to see how the team does with a tournament under their belt, "We learned a lot about ourselves last week in California. It wasn't the result that we were looking for, but it was good for us to finally get back into competition and see where we were in terms of tournament golf."

The Salukis will be playing at the Golden Eagle Course this weekend. This course was designed by world renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio. Golden Eagle has wide fairways and strategically placed Scottish bunkers to create a course that is challenging for all types of golfers. Â
Live stats will be available via GolfStat. The teams will tee off on Saturday at 8 AM for the first round. Round two will also tee off at 8 AM on Sunday.
