Salukis conclude action at NCAA Indoor Championships

The Southern Illinois track and field team concluded its run at the 2018 NCAA Division I Indoor Track and Field Championships Saturday, as redshirt senior Isaac Ingram competed in the weight throw at Gilliam Indoor Stadium in College Station, Texas.
Ingram, who was making his first career appearance at a NCAA DI Championship, was unfortunately unable to get one of his three attempts to hold up and failed to record a mark.
With the indoor season complete, Southern Illinois will turn its attention to the outdoor portion of the 2018 campaign. The Salukis open the outdoor season when they host the Bill Cornell Spring Classic on March 23-24.Â
