Men's Golf head to last tournament in regular season

WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. – The Southern Illinois Men's Golf team heads to the 15th Annual Boilermaker Invitational hosts by Purdue. This is SIU's third consecutive appearance in this tournament. The team traveling this weekend will be Peyton Wilhoit, Luke Gannon, Dirk Kuehler, Frankie Thomas, and Dean Harpe.
SIU Men's Golf will be competing in a 17-team field consisting of Kent State, Northwestern, Purdue, Central Florida, Ohio State, Miami of Ohio, Wisconsin, Michigan, Cincinnati, Indiana, Toledo, UT Arlington, Southern Illinois, Western Kentucky, Northern Illinois, Wichita State, and Xavier. There are nine teams ranked within the top 100 on GolfStat and three teams within the top 50.
The Salukis hope to continue the momentum they have had in the past few weeks this weekend. This is the last tournament the Salukis compete in before the MVC Championships on April 23-24.
Day one of the 54-hole event will begin on Saturday with a shotgun start at 9 AM with 36 holes. Live stats will be available on GolfStat.com.
