MVC basketball schedules announced

ST. LOUIS - The Missouri Valley Conference released the men's and women's basketball schedules on Tuesday. The SIU men will open MVC play January 2 at home against Missouri State, and the women will open league play at SIU Arena on January 4 vs. Evansville.

The State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament will take place March 7-10 in St. Louis. The women's MVC Tournament will take place March 14-17 and will be in Moline, Ill., for a fourth-straight season.
