Men's Golf ready for final round of Desert Intercollegiate

PALM DESERT, Calif. – SIU Men's Golf move up to 18^th place after the second round of the Desert Intercollegiate. The team shot a 298 today, a score that's 15 shots less than their score from round one.

Seniors Peyton Wilhoit (+7) and Luke Gannon (+7) and Freshman Matthis Besard (+7) are all tied for 52^nd place with a score of 151. Gannon and Wilhoit jumped up a few spots from being tied for 87^th place after round one. All of the Salukis were moved up on the leaderboard after playing well in round two. Sean Mullan (+14) is tied for 95^th and Markus Wilhelmsen (+18) is tied for 111^th place.

The Salukis will play the last round of the Desert Intercollegiate on Sunday. Live stats will be available via Golfstat.com.
