CARBONDALE, Ill. — The 2019 Brochure for the Clubhouse Crew is available on-line at SIUSalukis.com. The Clubhouse Crew is the official fundraising arm of the Saluki Men's Golf program and provides extra support for the team to purchase equipment, additional apparel and to travel to some of the best tournaments in the country.
"The Clubhouse Crew is very vital to our program," said SIU head coach Justin Fetcho. "Over the last few years, the assistance of the Clubhouse Crew has allowed our student-athletes to have a first class experience while competing at the highest level here at SIU.
Fetcho said the Clubhouse Crew membership has grown each year, thanks in part to the success of the program, which has finished in the top two at the MVC Championships in three of the last four years, including the program's first conference title in 2016. Heading into the spring season, Southern Illinois is ranked No.114 in the country, the highest ranking in school history.
"We want to reach 100 members," Fetcho said. "Each and every Clubhouse Crew member is significant to our program and we wanted to provide our alumni, supporters and community the ability to make a difference in the lives of our student-athletes."
New this year is the opportunity to Donate Online. Scroll down on the right hand side of the page to "Funds to Support" and select Men's Golf. If you choose this option, when you reach the final page, under the "My Gift Options" section, select "Add Additional Information Regarding This Gift" and note your size (if you would like to receive gear). Supporters can still make a gift by check or phone, as well.
