The Southern Illinois baseball team wraps up a five-game road stretch with a 4 p.m. game at Austin Peay on Tuesday. The Governors are wrapping up a five-game home stand. The teams are playing the back half of an in-season home-and-home series, with the Salukis winning 3-2 at Itchy Jones Stadium earlier this year. The teams have each been good in mid-week action -- the Salukis are 7-1 in mid-weeks and Austin Peay is 5-3.

- SIU freshman Matthew Steidl is making his third start of the season. In two starts, Steidl has pitched eight shutout innings, allowing just three hits while striking out four. He has limited opponents to a .111 average over his two starts, both of which the Salukis won.
