CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois baseball team's game against Arkansas State was canceled due to lightning. The teams played the top of the first inning before the lightning strike. The game will not be rescheduled and statistics will not count.

Southern Illinois travels to Indiana State for a three-game series this weekend.
