The Southern Illinois baseball program hosts Saint Louis on Tuesday evening in Itchy Jones Stadium to start a four-game home stand to close the regular season. The Billikens have won seven of their last eight games, and SIU has won five-straight home games. The Salukis have also won nine of 11 mid-week games this year and are 6-0 in mid-week games at Itchy Jones Stadium. Brad Harrison will return to the mound for the first time since early April after battling an injury for the Salukis.

Southern Illinois hosts Saint Louis on Tuesday at 5 p.m. for the final regular season mid-week game of the year. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+
SIU ranks fifth in the nation in stolen bases (127). SIU also holds five of the top seven individual base stealers in the Missouri Valley Conference: Will LaRue (1st, 25), Nikola Vasic (3rd, 22), Addison Fugitt and Ian Walters (t-5th, 17), and Alex Lyon (7th, 16).
SIU junior lefty Brad Harrison is set to start for the Salukis. Harrison was SIU's opening day starter but has pitched just three innings since March 16 with arm fatigue.
Saint Louis is led by Corrigan Bartlett (.326), Cole Dubet (.325), Jake Garella (.322), and Cam Redding (.319). The Billiken pitching staff has been outstanding, with a 3.74 staff ERA. Ten SLU pitchers have ERAs under 3.55.
SIU is 17-7 at Itchy Jones Stadium this year and has won five-straight home games. The Salukis secured a fourth-straight season with an above .500 record at home. In that span (since 2016), SIU is 26 games above .500 (68-42-1).
