The postseason banquet was held on Saturday. Here is a list of team awards:
Tony Bleyer Team MVP: D.J. Davis, Jeremy Chinn
Offensive Player of the Year: Javon Williams Jr.
Defensive Player of the Year: Jeremy Chinn
Toughest Saluki: Cody Crider
Harry Bobbitt Spirit Award: D.J. Davis
Most Improved Player: Bryson Strong
Offensive Scout Player of the Year: Chase Evans
Defensive Scout Player of the Year: Will Hopkins

Preparations for the 2020 season are underway. The Salukis began winter conditioning on Jan. 13, including morning workout competitons.

For the second-straight year, center Jacob Marnin was named to the FCS ADA Academic All-Star team. Fans will have a chance to congratulate him with a special recognition during the men's basketball game versus Drake on Jan. 19 at 3 p.m.

Athlon Sports announced its 28-player FCS All-America team on Jan. 15. Salukis safety Jeremy Chinn made the squad. The consensus All-American is headed to the Senior Bowl the week of Jan. 21. He was also named to the FCS ADA Academic All-Star team with a 3.55 GPA.

Former Salukis MyCole Pruitt (Tennessee Titans) and Ryan Neal (Seattle Seahwaks) were active for their team's playoff games on the weekend of Jan. 11-12. Pruitt will play in the AFC Championship game on Sunday.

Running back D.J. Davis accepted an invitation to play in the 2020 Hula Bowl on Jan. 26. He will showcase his talents for NFL scouts ahead of the April draft.

The Salukis have added Monroe College (N.Y.) transfer DT Devin Love (6-3, 275). He had 38 tackles, 7.0 TFL, 3.5 sacks as a freshman last year and was First-Team Northeast Football Conference.
