J.D. Muila arrived in Carbondale before the 2020-21 season ranked as one of the top-25 junior college players in the nation. He suffered a season-ending knee injury in the preseason -- the second-straight year injuring the same knee. A native of Ottawa, Canada, Muila worked with SIU's team of experts and specialists to get back on the court for 2021-22. His journey is detailed in the video below:
