Chris Carr speaks to Saluki Basketball

CARBONDALE, Ill. — Saluki Hall of Famer Chris Carr spoke to the Saluki men's basketball team before practice on Tuesday night. Carr scored 1,251 points during his SIU career (1992-95) and helped lead the team to NCAA Tournament appearances in 1993, 1994 and 1995. He was named the MVC Player of the Year in 1995 after leading the league in scoring with 22.0 points per game. He scored nearly 2,000 points during his six-year career in the NBA. We appreciate the heart-felt message to the team from a proud Saluki.
