CARBONDALE, Ill. – Coming off a weekend sweep at home against Ohio, the Southern Illinois baseball team is set to travel to Edwardsville for a midweek game against SIUE Tuesday at 3 p.m.

He holds an 0-1 record and a 5.62 ERA in eight innings of work. Against Towson in his season debut, Combs threw five complete innings and allowed one run while striking out three. In his latest start against Saint Louis, he went three innings and allowed four earned runs on six hits.
• The Cougars are slated to throw LHP Garrett Helsel (1-0). The freshman has appeared in four games and holds a 4.15 ERA in 8.2 innings on the mound. His season-long (4 IP) came at Illinois State.

• The Salukis enter the matchup at 6-6 overall and winners of three-straight games while SIUE is 8-2 and has won their last four games, most recently sweeping Western Illinois at home.
