Salukis Set To Begin Graeme McDowell Invitational

ONEONTA, Al. — Coming off a runner-up team finish last weekend at Kansas State, SIU hits the links again Sunday afternoon in the Graeme McDowell Invitational. The tournament is being held at Limestone Springs in Oneonta, Ala. The course is par 72 that plays 6,987.
The Salukis will compete this weekend against host UAB, Jacksonville State, Lamar, Louisiana, ULM, North Alabama, Oral Roberts, Samford, Tarleton State, Troy, UTRGV, USC Upstate and Louisiana Tech (Individuals).
SIU's lineup will feature Edouard Cereto, who is off to a wonderful start to his Saluki career. Cereto has produced two straight tournament scores of 208 (-8), both marks that placed him in the top five of the individual leaderboard for both tournaments.
Other Saluki golfers this week in Alabama will be junior Dain Richie, senior Hugo Archer, junior Andrew Watson, junior Leon Heitz and senior Andrew Thornton.
