CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University women's basketball team (6-8, 1-3 MVC) is looking to bounce back on Saturday against Bradley at 2 p.m. in Peoria.Â

- SIU fell to Illinois State, 76-43, in its last game on Wednesday night. As a team, the Salukis shot 18.7% from the field and 26.7% from deep. Quierra Love and Laniah Randle paced the Dawgs with eight points each in the loss.Â
- Southern has forced at least 20 turnovers in eight games this season. The Salukis are 4-4 when accomplishing this feat.Â

LEADING THE SALUKIS
- Laniah Randle is third in the MVC in points (16.8), tied for third in rebounds (8.2), ninth in field goal percentage (.503), tied for sixth in total blocks (12), and is tied for fourth in total steals (30). Randle has had at least 20 points in six games this season. In those six games, SIU is 4-2.Â
- Randle is 80th in the NCAA in scoring and is tied for 50th in double-doubles (five). The junior forward last posted a double-double on Dec. 17 at Oklahoma State.
- In all of 2022-23, SIU had six total double-doubles. The Salukis already have seven as a team this season. Randle has provided five of them, while Hughes has the other two.Â
- Jaidynn Mason is second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.9 points to go along with 2.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 2.4 steals-per-game. The sophomore has scored in double-figures in five games.Â
- Quierra Love is third in the MVC and 44th in the NCAA in steals-per-game (2.57). Love has posted two or more steals in eight games, and has at least four steals in four games. With five steals in her last game, Love is now eight all-time in career steals (170) at SIU, passing Erica Smith (166).
- Love is tied for fifth in the Valley in assists-per-game (4.1), and is tied for eighth in assist/turnover ratio (1.6).Â
- Paige Clubb had a career-high 11 points in last Saturday's win vs. Valpo. Clubb has 12 three-pointers made on the year, the second-most on the team behind Love's 22.Â
- The Salukis' roster is made up of four seniors, five juniors, one sophomore, and three freshmen. SIU's four seniors are Love, Shemera Williams, Adrianna Katcher, and Sydney Prochaska.Â
LOOKING AT BRADLEY
- Heading into Saturday's game, Bradley holds a record of 4-11 overall and 0-4 in MVC play.Â
- Bradley has lost six consecutive games, including its last game vs. Missouri State on Thursday, where the Braves lost 94-66 at home. Halli Poock's 18 points off the bench paced Bradley in the loss.
- The Braves are 11th in the Valley in scoring offense (61.5) and are 10th in scoring defense (74.3).
- Poock leads Bradley in scoring, averaging 12.7 points-per-game. This ranks 12th in the Valley.
- Kate Popovec-Goss is in her second season leading the Braves program. In her first two seasons, Popovec-Goss holds a record of 8-39.Â
SERIES HISTORY
- The Salukis are 56-29 all-time against Bradley and have won four-straight games against the Braves.Â
- This will be the 86th meeting between SIU and Bradley.Â
- In two games last season, SIU won by a combined score of 166-124. Randle averaged 17.0 points-per-game against the Braves one year ago.Â
