CARBONDALE, Ill. – Following a weekend sweep on the road at Belmont, Southern Illinois baseball will wrap up its road swing with a midweek game at Southeast Missouri on Tuesday. The first pitch with the Redhawks is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. from Capaha Field.

QUICK HITS

Entering play at 24-16 overall and 8-7 in the Missouri Valley Conference, SIU is coming off a weekend series sweep on the road at Belmont. The Salukis outscored Belmont 25-10 in the series, including a decisive 11-1 win on Sunday to claim the sweep.
SIU is 17-1 when leading after eight, 17-2 when leading after seven, and 15-3 when leading after six innings.
The Salukis are 13-3 when scoring in the first inning and have outscored opponents 40-28 in the first inning.
