CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois Women's Volleyball will host the Saluki Invitational beginning Thursday in Davies Gym in Carbondale. The Salukis will see their first Missouri Valley Conference action when they take on Missouri State Thursday. Southeast Missouri State and Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville will also play the Bears and Salukis.

- Missouri State handily leads this series between conference foes, 61-25. However, the Salukis have won the last four.
- The Salukis and Cougars have only played three times, with SIUE leading 2-1. The last match came on August 26, 2022, when SIUE won in Carbondale.
