CARBONDALE, Ill. – The Southern Illinois men's golf team was picked to finish second in the Missouri Valley Conference Coaches preseason poll.
The Salukis received 86 points, putting them second out of 10 teams. Illinois State was chosen as the favorite with 99 points, receiving nine first-place votes.
The Salukis' men's golf team will kick off in Mobile, Ala., at the Hal Williams Collegiate on Monday, February 10, at the Magnolia Grove Golf Course.
