Preview | Men's Golf heads to Eugene for the Duck Invitational

CARBONDALE, Ill. - The Southern Illinois University men's golf team will head to Eugene, Ore., on March 24 to compete in the Duck Invitational. SIU will be playing 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday.
Southern will send Anthony De Schutter, Frank Bellino, Leon Heitz. Lucas Lasley, Oliver Ulrich.
The Salukis will face off against 14 opposing teams including host Oregon, UTEP, Little Rock, Oregon State, St. Mary's (CA), Cincinnati, Wyoming, San Jose State, Colorado State, Grand Canyon, Boise State, CSU Fullerton, Idaho and Washington.
The Duck Invitational is being held at Eugene Country Club. It spans 6,997 yards and is a par-71 event.
The Salukis will look to improve after back-to-back 13th-place finishes in the last two events. De Schutter, who is having a strong season, looks to lead the way for the Salukis and most recently finished in 13th place at the Desert Mountain Collegiate.
