CARBONDALE, Ill. – Saluki Athletics can officially close the book on the 2025-26 season, which concluded at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships last week.
Track and Field
The Salukis were represented in Eugene, Oregon, at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships thanks to Leah Thames, who competed in the 400-meter dash on Thursday. While unable to advance to the final round, her time of 52.99 did earn her an All-American Honorable Mention accolade, making her the first Saluki track and field athlete to do so since 2024.
