CARBONDALE, Ill. - Chloe Anderson has joined the 2026 Southern Illinois Women's Volleyball roster, the program announced Wednesday.
"We are excited to bring an Illinois native back to her home state to play for us at SIU," Head Coach Brittany Harry said. "She gained great experience at Manhattan over the past three seasons as a middle and was also a team captain last season. We are grateful we can add that veteran leadership to what will be a fairly young roster for us next season."
A native of Romeoville, Ill., Anderson missed the 2025 season due to injury, but joins the Salukis, adding depth to the middle position as a redshirt junior. As a sophomore in 2024, Anderson had 91 kills and 70 blocks for Manhattan College. She notched a season-high eight kills hitting .462 against Le Moyne on September 13 and a season-high seven blocks at Niagara on Nov. 3. Anderson saw time during her freshman season in 2023, tallying 36 kills and 40 blocks for the Jaspers. Additionally, she was a team captain and was named to the Dean's List in the spring.
Anderson attended Romeoville High School, where she broke the program record for kills in 2022 and was named MaxPreps Volleyball Player of the Year. She received All-State Honorable Mention honors and was an AP Scholar in the classroom.
She intends to major in Computer Engineering and University Studies at SIU.
