Advanced to the NCAA West Region Preliminaries and took 33rd in the shot put ... earned gold at the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor T&F Championships (5/10-5/12) in the shot put after throwing for 60'-5.25" ... also won the shot put at the Lenny Lyles-Clark Wood Invite (4/26-4/27) and at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic (3/22-3/23), where he threw for a lifetime-best mark of 64'-0.5" and moved up to third overall on the SIU top-10 list ... collected marks in six meets.
2018-19 INDOOR SEASON
Scored 20 team points after winning the shot put (63'-7.75") and posting a personal-best mark in the weight throw (64'-7.25") to take first at the 2019 Missouri Valley Conference Indoor T&F Championships (2/23-2/24) ... posted six first-place finishes in eight meets.

2017-18 INDOOR SEASON
Won his first career MVC title with a personal-best mark in the shot put at the 2018 MVC Indoor Championships (2/25) … his PR was the fourth-longest throw in program history at 62'-9.5" (19.14m) … also scored in the weight throw at the MVC Championships with a seventh place finish … tallied six top-3 finishes in eight times competing in the shot put … threw a personal-best 60’-5” (18.41m) in the weight throw at the Don DeNoon Invitational (2/3) … posted a win in the shot put at the Illini Open (1/13).
PRIOR TO SIU (EASTERN ILLINOIS)
Swept the Ohio Valley Conference shot put titles as a sophomore ... won his first OVC shot put title at the 2017 OVC Indoor Championships with a personal-best heave of 58’-5.25” ... followed that with an outdoor personal-best toss of 56’-11.25” at the OVC Outdoor Championships to win his second conference title.
HIGH SCHOOL
Two-time state qualifier at Thornton Fractional South ... placed fourth in the shot put at the 2015 IHSA Class 3A state championships ... two-time sectional champion ... holds the school record in shot put ... was a four-sport athlete at TF South, as he competed in football, baseball, wrestling and track and field.
