Scored team points after finishing third in the weight throw with a lifetime best mark of 19.00m (62'-4") at the Missouri Valley Conference Indoor Championships (2/26-2/28) ... finished fifth in the weight throw at the Indiana State Invitational (2/13) ... took eighth in the weight throw at the season-opening Don DeNoon Dual (2/5-2/6) ... also PR'd in the shot put at the same event with a mark of 11.36m (37'-3.25"), placing her ninth.

Burson was a bronze medalist at the 2019 MSHSAA Class 4 State Championship in the shot put with a mark of 40'-8" (12.45m). Personal-bests: Shot put (12.70m), discus (41.98m), javelin (33.9m).
