A 2020 graduate of SIU, Coleton Jeralds returned to his alma mater as a graduate assistant on defense in 2023.Â
A former walk-on from nearby Johnston City, Ill., Jeralds played cornerback in six games for the Salukis during his career. In high school, he was a three-time all-conference selection and team MVP, who earned a spot in the West vs. East All-Star game. Jeralds was a multi-sport athlete, also competing in track and basketball.
