Dr. Jon Humphrey began working as a team physician for Saluki Athletics in 2010-11 and has bean the Head Team Physician since 2013.Â
Dr. Humphrey is a triple graduate of Southern Illinois University and graduated from the SIU School of Medicine in 1997. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine. He is a member of the AMSSM Research and Fellowship Committees.Â
A native of Royalton, Ill., Dr. Humphrey completed an SIU Sports Medicine Fellowship in 2007 and is an assistant professor at the SIU School of Medicine. He earned Teacher of the year, SIU Family Medicine Residency in 2013-14 and is a distinguished author in sports medicine.Â
