Justin Endsley, originally from Normal, Illinois, enters his third season with the Saluki basketball program in a full-time capacity ahead of the 2025-26 season. He spent his first two seasons as the Director of Men's Basketball Operations before being elevated to Deputy Assistant to the Head Coach in July of 2025.Â
In this role, Endsley works closely with the coaching staff daily, oversees the student managers, organizes recruiting visits, and collaborates with various departments within SIU Athletics, including facilities and academics. He is also responsible for planning travel, coordinating weekly schedules, managing camps, and facilitating community outreach initiatives.
Endsley continues to contribute to the basketball program after serving as a student manager for four years from 2019 to 2023. After his sophomore year, he was promoted to the position of head manager.
During the summers of 2022 and 2023, Endsley was one of only five individuals nationwide to serve as a college host at the National Student Leadership Summit, an event sponsored by the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS), which governs high school sports across the country.
Endsley graduated from SIU in May 2023 with Magna Cum Laude honors, earning a bachelor's degree in sports administration.
