Volleyball Faces Missouri In Non-League Play

Carbondale, Ill. - Southern Illinois University Carbondale (8-12, 3-8 MVC) will end its three-match, five-day road trip on Monday, October 22 against Missouri (15-5, 6-5 Big 12) in Columbia, Missouri.
"Missouri is a tough team and they're getting top 25 votes. This is an opportunity to get an important win against a good team," said Sonya Locke, Saluki head coach.
"We had a good match with them in our tournament final but we need to be focused or we could get swept on this road trip."
The Salukis lost MVC matches to SMS and Wichita State over the weekend. SIU will be back home to host Illinois State and Indiana State on October 26 & 27 respectively.
