Volleyball Drops Match To Creighton 3-1

Carbondale, Ill. - Creighton University (7-7, 6-1 MVC) beat Southern Illinois University Carbondale (6-10, 2-6 MVC) 30-19, 30-21, 27-30, 30-20 on Saturday, October 6 in Missouri Valley Conference play.
After dropping the first two games, SIU won game three but couldn't hold off the Bluejays in game four. Creighton hit .380 for the match while the Salukis finished at .258.
Kelly Harman's career-high 20 kills and .415 hitting percentage (20 kills, 3 errors, 41 attempts) led the Salukis. Kristie Kemner added another double-double performance with 11 kills and 18 digs. Megan Baumstark added 45 assists and five digs. Lindsey Schultz hit .300 (8 kills, 2 errors, 20 attempts) and Tara Cains added 11 digs in the loss.
The Salukis will travel to Macomb, Illinois to face Western Illinois in their next match on Tuesday, October 9 at 7 p.m.
