CARBONDALE, Ill. - Southern Illinois University football coach Jerry Kill is scheduled to be released from the hospital and return to work on Tuesday.
Kill was hospitalized for tests after he experienced a seizure Saturday night. All tests came back normal, and he has been cleared by doctors to resume a regular schedule.
"I feel fine, and the doctor said there should be no problem with me going back to work," Kill said. "Right now, I'm just anxious to get our team ready for Western Kentucky."
Kill said doctors told him to remain in the hospital overnight Monday so they could regulate his medicine.
