Amanda Rexroat went 2-for-3 while Tahira Saafir and Julie Meier each had one hit to lead Southern Illinois University as the Salukis fell to Texas-Arlington by a score of 3-0 Sunday in the Mississippi State Bulldog Classic.
Freshman Mary Jasczak was handed the loss on the moundas SIU drops to 1-1 on the season.
The Salukis will return to action Friday-Sunday, Feb. 23-25 at the Troy Cox Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M. SIU will open play on Friday, Feb. 23 against Oregon at 10:15 a.m., and Baylor at 7:45 p.m.
