Waterloo, IA - Senior Becky Cox ran a time of 22:37 to lead the Southern IIlinois University Carbondale women's cross country team Saturday at the NCAA Midwest Regional in Waterloo, Iowa.

Cox, who posted a career best NCAA Regional finish at 67th, was one of four Saluki runners at this year's regional hosted by the University of Northern Iowa. Also, representing SIU were Marissa Jelks, Jodi Huddlestun, and Julia Roundtree. Jelks placed 82nd (22:49) while Huddlestun listed 98th (23:06) and Roundtree finished 118th (23:36).
