Hiller Named MVC Female Golfer of the Week

Junior Alison Hiller has been named MVC Female Golfer of the Week for the second time this spring.
Hiller, a native of Atlanta, Ga., shot a 240 good for 23rd at the Indiana Invitational April 7-8 in Bloomington, Indiana. For the season she is leading the team with a 77.7 stroke average and bagged the only below 70 score in SIUC women's golf history when she shot a 69 on the third round at the Lady Trojan Invitational Oct. 16-17 hosted by the University of Arkansas-Little Rock.
Hiller's 77.7 is the lowest season stroke average beating Tina Kozlowski's 78.9 set during the 1986-87 season and also holds the all-time lowest career stroke average of 79.4 after three seasons and 75 rounds. She and her teammates will be competing at the MVC Championships hosted by Creighton University April 23-25.
