Reuschel and Pfaff named Scholar-Athlete all-MVC

Southern Illinois University sophomores Mark Reuschel and Kurt Pfaff were named to the 2001 Missouri Valley Conference Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team announced today.
Both golfers were two of seven members named honorable mention in addition to six Valley student-athletes who were selected to the first-team.
Reuschel, a native of Astoria, Ill., carries a 4.0 GPA as an undecided major while Sparta, Wis., native Pfaff holds a 3.69 GPA in Management.
Also highlighting this year's MVC Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete Team was Wichita State's Michael Roberts who was selected to the first-team for the third straight season.
